I know…this picture is a placeholder. I look uncomfortable and as though my head has exceeded the confines of the frame. Which it has.

In the meantime, something important: HOME is a concept that is actually a very big deal. We are too much exposed and private lives are part of the public domain…every private life it seems. But it doesn’t have to be that way. HOME - whatever size or shape - is where you establish ceremonies around your coffee or tea, where you engage meaningfully with those you love, where you close your eyes and adventure away from your daytime world cradled by things that might not be so inanimate…HOME is really a relationship, a sincere and loving relationship, based on a magical form of reciprocity; love your home and your home truly loves you.

There are myriad ways to “decorate,” and there are endless things to desire and obtain. But an assemblage of things does not a HOME make. The recipe is, as they say, simple, but not easy. It requires awareness and care. You are nurturing that which you hope will nurture you after all.
